Anfang des Jahres verurteilte die \u00f6sterreichische Justiz Sony dazu, einem Spieler, der mehrere hundert Euro f\u00fcr die Lootboxen des Fu\u00dfballspiels ausgegeben hatte, sein Geld zur\u00fcckzuzahlen, da sie die Lootboxen als illegales Gl\u00fccksspiel betrachteten. Der japanische Riese beschloss, keine Berufung gegen das Urteil einzulegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Innerhalb weniger Jahre hat sich FIFA zu einem der Mastodonten der Videospielindustrie entwickelt. Der letzte Teil stellte bei seiner Ver\u00f6ffentlichung erneut einen Verkaufsrekord auf, und die Begeisterung der Community scheint von Jahr zu Jahr nicht nachzulassen. Das hindert die Saga jedoch nicht daran, viel Kritik zu \u00fcben, insbesondere an FUT, dem System der Lootboxen, mit dem man (theoretisch) seine Traummannschaft zusammenstellen kann. Nat\u00fcrlich muss man bei EA mehrmals zur Kasse gehen, um endlich die gew\u00fcnschten Spieler zu bekommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viele Spieler mussten ein Verm\u00f6gen ausgeben, um ihre Ziele zu erreichen, und das war f\u00fcr manche eine schwere Pille, die sie nicht schlucken konnten. Vor einigen Monaten entschied das \u00f6sterreichische Gericht in Hermagor nach einer Klage mehrerer Spieler, dass das FUT-System gegen die Gl\u00fccksspielgesetze des Landes verst\u00f6\u00dft. Mit anderen Worten: FIFA bietet ein Wettsystem an, das nach \u00f6sterreichischen Ma\u00dfst\u00e4ben v\u00f6llig illegal ist. Da die Klage gegen Sony gerichtet war, weil die Wetten auf der PlayStation abgeschlossen worden waren, wurde die japanische Firma aufgefordert, den Kl\u00e4gern ihr Geld zur\u00fcckzuzahlen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GERICHT VERURTEILT SONY ZUR R\u00dcCKZAHLUNG AN FIFA-SPIELER<br>Sony hatte dann bis zum 3. April Zeit, gegen diese Entscheidung Berufung einzulegen. Nach Informationen der Website GamesMarkt nahm der Konzern davon Abstand. Infolgedessen muss Sony nun einem der Kl\u00e4ger 336,26 \u20ac zur\u00fcckerstatten, was dem Gesamtbetrag entspricht, den dieser f\u00fcr FUT ausgegeben hat. Nat\u00fcrlich ist dies eine l\u00e4cherliche Geldstrafe f\u00fcr ein Unternehmen von der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe Sonys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Bedeutung liegt jedoch woanders. Mit dieser Entscheidung setzt die \u00f6sterreichische Justiz einen Pr\u00e4zedenzfall f\u00fcr den Schutz von Spielern vor den manchmal missbr\u00e4uchlichen Monetarisierungspraktiken der Publisher.
