Das Unternehmen legte im September Berufung gegen das Urteil bei einem niedrigeren Gericht ein, und obwohl der Betrag reduziert wurde, bleibt es bei einem Rekordbetrag von 4,1 Milliarden Euro. Wie Bloomberg betont, hat Vestager bisher Bu\u00dfgelder in H\u00f6he von insgesamt mehr als 8 Milliarden Euro gegen Google verh\u00e4ngt und gleichzeitig versucht, den Einfluss des Unternehmens im Bereich der digitalen Werbung zu bek\u00e4mpfen.<br>Seit Oktober dieses Jahres erw\u00e4gt die Federal Trade Commission, das Unternehmen wegen angeblich irref\u00fchrender Pixel-4-Anzeigen zu bestrafen, w\u00e4hrend Indien auch Google wegen wettbewerbswidriger Praktiken im Zusammenhang mit Android mit einer Geldstrafe belegt hat.Unabh\u00e4ngig davon haben k\u00fcrzlich 43 europ\u00e4ische Preisvergleichs-Websites die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission aufgefordert, Ma\u00dfnahmen gegen das Unternehmen zu ergreifen, da der Google Shopping-Dienst ein fehlerhaftes Auktionssystem hat, das die Preisangaben f\u00fcr K\u00e4ufer \u00fcberh\u00f6ht. Dieses Konglomerat kleinerer Akteure im Einkaufsgesch\u00e4ft sagte weiter, dass Google gegen das Digital Markets Act verst\u00f6\u00dft, das speziell erlassen wurde, um Big Tech in Schach zu halten.<br>In der Zwischenzeit musste Google aufgrund dieses Urteils \u00c4nderungen an seinen Android-Lizenzvertr\u00e4gen vornehmen, damit Ger\u00e4tehersteller ihre Telefone im EWR mit oder ohne den Google Play Store und die zugeh\u00f6rigen Dienste, Chrome oder die Google-Suche anbieten k\u00f6nnen.
